Friends!
We are so excited that we will be doing SERVE SUNDAY again this year! We have set aside May 24th as our Serve Sunday day – to serve in and around our community! Serve Sunday 2020 will begin with a short online “service” at 8:00a with a message from Cassie Hayworth and work projects will begin at 8:30a.
Please note! As you are signing up, if you and a spouse/friend or the whole family will be serving together, please reserve multiple spots. (Example: If you and your spouse are going to serve at the Museum, please reserve 2 spots below, if your family of 5 is going to serve together, please reserve 5 spots below.)
SERVICE PROJECTS INCLUDE:
Clay County Museum – up to 30 people (probably not kid friendly) will be able to serve at the Museum. Projects include – cleaning: display cases, railings, elevator; moving filing cabinets & removing trash; installing shelving in multiple areas; installing sign; hanging pictures; and more.
Painting – Help paint Ginger and Bob Walker’s house. (**Priority Project) Cottage style home @ 1022 Clarke Street – Scraping/Painting (please bring scrapers/Paint brushes/rollers, cleanup supplies, ladders, etc).
Clay County Parks – Working on shelter houses (Project for 7-10 people per shelter – 8 Shelters) Scraping/Painting (please bring scrapers/Paint brushes/rollers, cleanup supplies, ladders, etc).
Please check back for more projects – we will continue to update and add projects as volunteer spots become filled.
