Learning from Paul’s “bond” with Jesus…
This week as we close out my final message in this series – and, sadly, my last message as your pastor – I want to spend some time looking at how Paul himself lived out his own “bond” with Jesus. We will draw some lessons and insights from my favorite book of the bible – Philippians – and learn from Paul’s own example. I will also share from some of my own (muddled!) attempts at living into what Paul calls us to. In so doing, I hope to encourage all of you to keep pressing on together into the purposes that God in Christ has for CCCov. I will be forever thankful to God for the rich experience you have allowed me to have in being your pastor. I will miss you all very much!
We will also have a chance to celebrate some baptisms together! At first service, we will celebrate the baptisms of Shawna Rozean, Anderson Craig, Janessa Bergsten and Makenna Clay. At second service, we will celebrate the baptism of Rachelle Coberly and Jennifer Davies. We will also dedicate Abigail Rozean (daughter of Sheldon and Shawna).
I look forward to sharing more with you on Sunday!
