This coming Sunday Suzanne and I will be sharing some personal updates with you about what God is up to in our lives. Although it certainly wasn’t planned this way, we both feel like we are living out the narratives of what we have been studying together during the Immerse: Beginnings series: like Abraham and Sarah being called to leave family/friends and “go” to a new land that He will show us; like Moses being told to leave the comforts of Midian and go to Egypt, and trust Him to provide for and work through us; like the Israelites standing on the edge of the promised land, staring at the giants before us, and yet being reminded that God is still with us.
Humanly speaking, Suzanne and I are both scared out of our wits at the prospect of what God is calling us and all of you to walk into; but at the same time, we have been reminded time and time again that our God is ever faithful and true! He will provide all of our needs out of His glorious abundance in Jesus Christ (Phil. 4:19).
We hope to see you all this coming Sunday as we share more with you during the worship service. See you then!
