Our Youth Ministry offers a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth for junior high school students:
- Power Hour meets every Wednesday during the school year from 6:30-8:00 pm
- D/C (Discipleship Confirmation) meets monthly for service and mission projects

I refer to this site OFTEN for my own kids as well as my job aspects. It has the current cutting edge media highlights, youth culture news, and research summaries that parents and teens want to stay on top of. (ie texting, cell phones, gaming, social networking, etc.) I’ve also taken 6-7 workshops from founder Walt Mueller and he does a great job of making his point succinctly and in easy to understand remarks.
This site is produced by Focus on the Family and gives current reviews on newest movies, videos, music, tv shows, and electronic games. Our family refers to this site before renting a DVD or attending a movie. It will indicate exactly the content for violence, sexual, spiritual, crude or profane language, drug and alcohol, and any positive or negative elements otherwise. Many older movies are in the archives to check before ordering them from Netflix or renting. The music link gives pro-social & objectionable content (gives lyrics), and summary advisory.
